I really got this one for the mango but I am loving how the mango and the mandarin orange are playing off each other. I really get the mango+pink pepper+mandarin orange topnote blast right away (along with bamboo which also wants to join in the fun a bit early.

Fairy Dance opens with sparkling top notes of tangerine, Mango, Pink Pepper; surprising the senses at every turn. While I love peony as a real scent, I am beginning to find that in perfumes it has a quality I do not like; the opposite of uplifting - dulling, too pervasive, and too vintage. Anna Sui Fairy Dance Secret Wish is a light and pretty, floral-fruity fragrance transmitting the afternoon atmosphere from a garden full of roses. Her fragrances are so feminine and fresh,perfect for gift giving as I don't see how anyone could find them offensive.

I can't pick out individual notes but it is a perfect blend of fruit,floral and woods (not spicy or too sweet). The opening is just fruity floral typical teenage scent, pretty uplifting, but sadly the dry down on my skin smells like musky male cologne that heavy on wet- dirty vetiver.But not as complex as I would prefer and as other users have mentioned, lasting power isn't really there. this is 1 of the better fragrances from Anna Sui, I love the combination of fruity and floral notes in this. Opens with a big hit of mango which quickly disappears into a woody smell which seemed to be fading into nothing within an hour. I didn't really get much woodiness from this, but I found the perfume rather fleeting and mild, so perhaps I just didn't notice it. Some citrus in the beginning from the mandarin orange, then what I assume to be the mango comes to the forefront.
